Welcome to Glenmoor and Winton Academies

Two successful, single-sex academies that enjoy a shared campus and teaching staff.

Many parents want their daughters to have the classroom benefits of single-sex education as well as the personal development which comes from co-education. Here at Glenmoor, our dedicated teaching staff understand that girls and boys learn in different ways and as such our girls achieve great results across the curriculum particularly in English, maths, humanities and expressive arts. Glenmoor Academy is a comfortable space in which girls can build and retain friendship groups, grow their self-esteem and enjoy their learning. They also enjoy extensive, inspiring extracurricular activities, sharing new experiences with those of different ages, from different backgrounds and growing in confidence and character.

A huge thanks to Leon [Lima] and the whole team at Glenmoor and Winton for hosting us – we knew before we arrived that pupil outcomes in the school are strong, but this was matched on our visit with passion and enthusiasm from all the staff we met as well as by students who were able to reflect openly and positively on their experience at the school.
