Behaviour Hub

Glenmoor Academy has been named as one of 22 schools awarded with 'Lead school' status in the new government initiative launched to support 500 schools in improving behaviour culture. This is not only a fantastic opportunity to continue with our outward facing attitude and support schools across the country, but another acknowledgement of our phenomenal achievements over recent years. Both the 'Teaching School' and 'Behaviour' Hub status are recognition of the consistency we apply and high standards we set for ourselves and the GW community. Being part of these amazing programmes, will enable us to not only support others but continue to develop our own community through continuous improvement.

When schools are safe, disciplined, and positive environments, teachers can teach, and pupils can learn – free from disruption. The Behaviour Hubs programme can support school leaders by providing expert help to improve their school’s behaviour cultures.
