Strike Action 2023

Teacher strikes: What is happening at Glenmoor & Winton Academies?

Members of the NEU teaching union have voted to strike in our area on the following dates: 

•            Wednesday, 15 March (England and Wales)

•            Thursday, 16 March (England and Wales)

At Glenmoor & Winton Academies, some teachers will be on strike and it will be necessary to amend our programme for the day.

  • Year 7 - Closed to students. Remote learning has been provided. Please see the letter below for further information.
  • Year 8 - Closed to students. Remote learning has been provided. Please see the letter below for further information.
  • Year 9 - Closed to students. Remote learning has been provided. Please see the letter below for further information.
  • Year 10 - Closed to students. Remote learning has been provided. Please see the letter below for further information.
  • Year 11 - Academies will remain open with specific timings. Please see the letter below for further information.
